Released in 2011 by Empire Mates Entertainment, Superstar was a milestone for Nigerian music, blending afrobeat, reggae, dancehall, and R&amp;B. The album featured hits like "Holla at Your Boy" and collaborations with artists like Banky W and Skales, solidifying Wizkid's place in the afrobeats scene.

Since then, Wizkid has released five studio albums: Superstar (2011), Ayo (2014), Sounds from the Other Side (2017), Made in Lagos (2020), and More Love Less Ego (2022). He teased his latest album, Morayo, calling it "legendary" and indicating it was inspired by his late mother.
